Introduction
SUPERON PHOS. COPPER 3 is an economical phosphorus–copper brazing alloy containing 93.8% copper and 6.2% phosphorus, with an operating temperature of 730°C. Equivalent to BACuP-1, CP203, CP6, BCuP-1, and L-CuP6, it is similar to Silver 2 but with lower silver content, making it a cost-effective choice. This alloy is primarily used for copper-to-copper brazing in refrigeration, air conditioning, and sanitary applications where wide joint clearances, good strength, and affordability are important.
