Introduction
SUPERON PHOS. COPPER 2 is the most economical phosphorus–copper brazing alloy, consisting of 93.2% copper and 6.8% phosphorus. With an operating temperature of 730°C, it conforms to the international standard *CuP 180. Designed for applications where joint clearance is wider, this alloy offers sluggish flow characteristics, making it best suited for general-purpose brazing in plumbing, sanitary, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems where cost efficiency and reliable copper-to-copper bonding are required.
