Introduction
SUPERON Ag 2P is a silver–phosphorus brazing alloy containing 2% silver, 91.5% copper, and 6.5% phosphorus. With an operating temperature of 710°C, it meets international standards BACuP-3, CP105, CP2, BCuP-6, and L-Ag2P. This alloy is designed to fill moderate gaps in poorly fit joints, offering good flow and versatility. At the lower end of its brazing range, it effectively fills wide joint clearances, while at the higher end, it becomes more fluid for narrow gaps. Commonly recommended for sanitary and refrigeration installations, it provides reliable performance and durable joints in copper-to-copper and copper-to-brass applications.
Applications
It efficiently fills moderate gaps in poorly fitted joints while ensuring good flow. At lower brazing temperatures, it fills wide joint clearances, while at higher temperatures, it becomes more fluid. Ideal for sanitary and
refrigeration installations.
