Introduction
SUPERON Ag 45Cd is a silver brazing alloy with the lowest brazing temperature range among BAg filler metals. Containing 45% silver, 15% copper, 16% zinc, and 24% cadmium, it operates at 610°C and offers excellent free-flowing characteristics, making it ideal for narrow clearance capillary joints. Its narrow melting range ensures suitability for both rapid and slow heating methods, providing versatility across different brazing applications. Conforming to international standards BACuAg 15, AG302, and BAg-1, SUPERON Ag 45Cd is a reliable alloy for producing high-strength, precision joints.
Applications
Among the Bag filler metals, it has the lowest brazing temperature range. Its excellent flow properties allow it to penetrate narrow clearance capillary joints, while its narrow melting range
makes it suitable for both rapid and slow heating methods.
