Introduction
SUPERON Ag 42Cd is a low-temperature silver brazing alloy containing 42% silver, 17% copper, 16% zinc, and 25% cadmium. With an operating temperature of 610°C, it conforms to international standards AG 303 and AG 2. This alloy offers excellent fluidity and capillary action, making it suitable for close joint clearances. It provides strong, ductile joints while minimizing heat effects on parent metals, making it highly effective for precision brazing applications.
Applications
This silver brazing alloy has the narrowest melting range of all, making it a top choice among
manual brazers. It is especially recommended when a low brazing temperature is required to
maintain the properties of the parent metals. Ideal for closely fitting joints,
providing neat, strong, and highly ductile connections.
