Introduction
SUPERON Ag 35Cd is a free-flowing, general-purpose silver brazing alloy composed of 35% silver, 26% copper, 21% zinc, and 18% cadmium. With an operating temperature of 690°C, it conforms to international standards BACuAg 20, AG 305, and BAg-2. Its broader melting range makes it ideal for joints with wide or uneven clearances, providing smooth flow and strong penetration. Care should be taken during slower heating to prevent separation of the lower-melting constituents, ensuring reliable and durable brazed joints.
Applications
A free-flowing, general-purpose brazing alloy with a broad melting range, making it ideal for applications with wide or non-uniform clearances. However, to prevent the separation of lower-melting constituents due to liquation, rapid heating is recommended.
