Introduction
SUPERON Ag 25HiCd is a silver brazing alloy composed of 25% silver, 30% copper, 28% zinc, and 17% cadmium, with an operating temperature of 690°C. Conforming to international standards AG 307, BAg-33, and L-Ag25Cd, it provides excellent filler formation and can effectively bridge wide gaps. However, its broad melting range makes it more susceptible to liquation, so careful handling is required, especially during slower heating. It is ideal for applications where rapid heating can be ensured to produce strong, reliable brazed joints.
Applications
SUPERON Ag 25Cd Hi, 25Cd, and 20Cd provide excellent filler formation and effectively
bridge wide gaps. However, their broad melting range restricts their applications,
making them more susceptible to liquation and requiring careful handling during brazing.
Consequently, they are not typically recommended for applications with
slow heating rates.
