Introduction
SUPERON Ag 25Cd is a silver brazing alloy composed of 25% silver, 35% copper, 27% zinc, and 13% cadmium. With an operating temperature of 730°C, it conforms to the international standard BAg-27. This alloy provides good filler flow and reliable joint strength, making it suitable for general-purpose brazing applications where strong, durable joints are required.
Applications
SUPERON Ag 25Cd Hi, 25Cd, and 20Cd provide excellent filler formation and effectively bridge wide gaps. However, their broad melting range restricts their applications, making them more susceptible to liquation and requiring careful handling during brazing. Consequently, they are not typically recommended for applications with slow heating rates.
