Introduction
SUPERON Ag 12Cd is a cost-effective silver brazing alloy containing 12% silver, 50% copper, 31% zinc, and 7% cadmium. With an operating temperature of 800°C, it meets the international standard L-Ag12Cd. Its broad melting range makes it suitable for applications involving short heating cycles, minimizing the risk of liquation. This alloy is particularly effective for bridging wider gaps where high heat input and joint strength are required, but heat sensitivity is not a major concern.
Applications
A budget-friendly alloy with a broad melting range. Similar to previous alloys, it is best suited for applications with short heating cycles to minimize liquation. Ideal for bridging wider gaps where heat sensitivity is not a concern.
