Super Stanhard GS 9580 MOD

DESCRIPTION :

Wire for repairs on hot working tools, forging dies, press jacks, hot draw rings, up-setting tools. Furthermore for surfacing on work hardened steel from low and alloyed high tensile steels. To be used as top two layers over Super Stanhard GS 535.

Hardness (Typical) : 48 - 52 (After welding)

• Specially designed to resist deformation and wear at elevated temperatures.
• Controlled hardness ideal for build-ups on multiple layers.
• Excellent compatibility with die blocks of DIN 1.2714 /H-13/H-11.

KEY APPLICATIONS AREAS : Surfacing and build up on all drop & press forging dies, hammers, punches, inserts.
